Show Herbert B. Maw Dean of Men The Dean of Men seeks to be of help to the men on the campus both collectively and individually. He is a friend and personal advisor to all. Dean Maw acts as a chancelor in problems confronting the men students and their many and varied organization on the campus. Because of his wide experience and training he is able to help and advise the different organizations in their plans and undertakings. His major task is to adjust problems of health, finance, vocational guidance, studies, or problems of a more personal nature. He endeavors to emphasize at all times the two-fold business of the university: the whole-hearted pursuit of study for its own sake as well as for professional ends, and the development of characters, honorable, courageous, and sensitive to the rights and needs of others. Herbert B. Maw has very efficiently and effectively executed the many duties of this office since its re-establishment on our campus four years ago. Page 23 |
