Show Friday . Saturday Utah 48 54 U.A.C. 37 49 D. RICHINS Guard 'ESPITE an unencouraging pre-season outlook the Utah Redskins were resting atop the Western Division in a tie with B. Y. U. Sensing their precarious position the Utes set out to scoop the three remaining series. In the first skirmish at Logan the upstaters witnessed a quintet of Redskins rally from a half-time score of 25-24, in their favor, to a 48-37 final. Kinner with 18 points, and Brooks with 10, led the Crimson scoring attack. Lund played a beautiful court game, getting four baskets for himself. In the final home game the Aggies started fast and held a 28-17 lead at the half. A spurt, with Taft Watts leading the scoring, gave Utah a 36-35 lead early in the second period. It was then a see-saw affair until the final whistle when the count was knotted at 42. In the extra period, three ringers by Watts, one each by Brooks, Kinner, and Lund, gave Utah 54 points to the Aggie's aggregate of 49. ED COLSON Forward U. of U. vs. U. A. C.
