Show The Utes had little difficulty with the Aggies on April 22, and, after the smoke had cleared away, they had won an anticipated victory by the score of 98 to 47. This, the first meet of the season, showed Armstrong he had an aggregation that, would cause considerable trouble to other opponents. Goldstein and Greenwell had their feud for first places, Goldy taking the hundred and Porky beating him out in the 220-yard dash. Significant first places were won by Captain Lusty in the mile; Ed Jeppson, 440; Dansie, high hurdles; Hodge, pole vault Rushforth, high jump; Smith, 880; Maxfield, low hurdles; Davies, javelin; Johnson, hammer, and the two Utah relay teams. The most serious contender from the Aggie institution was Everett Campbell, who showed promise of making a new record. George Pyper also showed strength in the two-mile run. Wilson, B. Y.
