Show UTONIAN ... 1934 Jensen, Jones Parkinson, Maw Hull, Glade Knigh! Apportionment Board ThE Apportionment Board, whose duty it is to allot funds for the maintenance of various campus activities, has labored this year under a financial handicap. The ever-increasing demand for money, and the lowered university allotment from the state, has made it extremely difficult for members of this Board to solve their problems. Apportionments are made only after activity managers have submitted their statements, which are carefully checked and adjusted. This year, an average reduction of fifteen per cent was made in activity allotments. The following activities received apportionments: A. S. U. U., athletics, dramatics, debating, Chronicle, Humbug, Utonian, Pen, Extension division, music, including band, orchestra, and glee clubs, Women's Athletic Association, and Associated Women Students. Members of the board included: A. L. Jensen, chairman, Herbert B. Maw, Thomas Hull, Jaren Jones, Jay Parkinson, Earl J. Glade, Jr., and Ralph Knight. Page 40 |
