During Homecoming, this fraternity won first place in house decorations and second place in the quartet contest. This victory was followed, later in the spring, by the sweepstakes trophy for "U" Days. But these activities were interspersed with social functions. The Beatnik Party, held in a cellar, and the Dream Girl Spring Formal, held at the Homestead, were most successful. But most significant, perhaps, is the interest that this fraternity had in cultural programs. This interest is evident in the Symposium Parties which were initiated this year, where the Pi Kaps hosted the Utah String Quartet, a folk singer, and the interpretive reading of poetry.mm fed*.Dick ThordersonSssmS, Jerry Moffitt sSSjft^aS'SJilBt Hasilfil John LattinmmEvan L.
