Show A. I. Ql E.This student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers strives to stimulate the personal qualities of leadership, interest in the profession, and fellowship among its members. Besides the field trip to Arco, Idaho, and participation in Engineering Week, Oyster Stew, and Intramural sports, they held weekly meetings, which served to acquaint them with their profession and their general culture. These meetings were an attempt to broaden the engineers, and the list of speakers exhibits this attempt. Dr. Durham's lecture on music, Dr. Jack Adamson's on literature, Dr. Mulder's on the political and social ideas of India, and Dr. Jennings' on his work with the American Indians, give us hope that our future engineers will be an asset to our cultural life, as well as to science.Officers were (left to right): John Redd, president; Bruce Isom, vice-president; Thomas Burke, treasurer; and Gary Hansen, secretary.«•-* *..Members include (left to right): John Redd, Bruce Isom, Gary Hansen, Thomas Burke, Robert Nielson, R.
