Show The College of Fine Arts is perhaps the most widely scattered collegeon the University campus. The departments of this college hold classes from theplavbox on University St. to the converted army buildings of the art center.Recognizing this handicap. Dean Lowell C. Durham has endeavored to unite hisscattered departments in a central location. The Music department, as a member of theNational Association of Schools of Music, oilers her students the opportunityof working with tlie excellent Utah Symphony. And the department of Architectureis the only school between Missouri and California which offers a completeprogram accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. But, of perhapsgreatest importance to the student, is the opportunity of studying under suchdistinguished men as: Dr. Avard Fairbanks, noted Lincolnian sculptor;Alvin Gittins, one of the nation's finest portrait painters; and William C. Christensen,Choreographer and head of the ballet school.Dorothy CadeRon Jensen Catherine C. CraddockJohn G. KaddasKathleen CassityPat Davis Gary CharlesworthGabrielle MacquinLinda Scheel Thomas T.
