Show COURTMembers of the Court (left to right) Lowell Uda,Eileen Demars, Harmer, Thayre Bailey,Kent Linebuagh, Rosemary Isom, Kathleen Halverson.John Harmer, Chief Justice of the Student Court, has tried to raise the court from its position of relative insignificance to one of equal importance to the senate, by trying to make the student body recognize the potentials of the court. In consequence, Harmer requests that anyone who feels that injustice has been done should petition the court where action is sure to follow. Harmer and the Court have decided that it is time for them to suggest means of solving problems before they arise and are pushing the well known honor code in the hope of having it ac-The Court's determined Chief Justice, John Harmer . . .cepted by the Senate and the student body. To further this campaign the walls of the building were decorated with black and white posters advertising truisms copied accurately from books or familiar quotations or borrowed directly from the walls of B.Y.U.Within its own field, the Court accomplished some positive results. This year the two court clerks reorganized the court records and unified all judicial acts under one group, so that there exists a permanent record of court proceedings. |
