Certificate of Organization -of- The California Development Company. This is to certify that we, the undersigned do hereby associate ourselves into a Company under and by virtue of the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State of New Jersey, entitled "An Act concerning corporations," approved April seventh, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, and the several supplements thereto and acts amendatory thereof, for the purposes hereinafter mentioned, and to that end we do by this our Certificate set forth. First: That the name which we have assumed to designate such company, and to be used in its business and dealings is "The California Development Company." Second: That the place in this State where the business of such Company is to be conducted, and in which the principal part of the business of said Company within this State is to be transacted is Jersey City, in the County of Hudson. The places out of this State where the business of such Company is to be conducted and in which the Company proposes to carry on operations are the City of New York, in the County and State of New York, in which the company's principal office or place of business out of this state is to be situated, and the State of California, the Territory of Arizona and the Republic of Mexico and such other States and Territories of the United States, as the Board of Directors may from time to time determine.
