Show The first meeting of the Incorporators and Subscribers to the Capital Stock of The California Development Company was held at the office of the New Jersey Corporations Agency, Nos. 243 and 245 Washington Street, Jersey City, N. J. on the 25th day of April, 1896, at one o'clock in the afternoon. There were present. Lewis H. Pounds, Anthony H. Heber, Furman Baker, Archibald M. Ostrom, Charles N. King, Charles E. Hoffman, Jacob N. Strickler. being all the incorporators and subscribers to the capital stock of the Company. The meeting was called to order and a motion duly made, seconded and carried that Mr. Heber take the chair. Mr. Heber took the chair. A motion was duly made, seconded and carried that Mr. Charles E. Hoffman act as Secretary of the meeting. The Certificate of Incorporation, certified under the seal of the Secretary of State, was presented by the Chair and read by the Secretary. A Motion was duly made, seconded and carried that same be spread in full upon the minutes and the original filed with the Company's papers. It is as follows: |
