Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 98 Identification: Feb. 14, 1957 Admitted: May 6, 1957 Fee, $2.50 Know All Men by These Presents, That I, Hall Hanlon, of Hanlons Ferry, in the County of San Diego, State of California, have this day granted to the California Development Company, a Corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey, doing business in San Diego County, State of California. An extension of time, for the payments to be made upon a certain agreement, made by and between the above named parties, on the fifth day of December A. D. 1896, which agreement was to be performed in full by the said Company the party of the second part on the 21st day of May, A. D. 1897, whereupon a certain deed executed by the said Hall Hanlon, on the said 5th day of December 1896, held in escrow by G. M. Knight, Notary Public, of and for the County of Yuma, Territory of Arizona, conditioned that said deed be delivered to said Company or its duly authorized agent, upon the due performance of the conditions of said agreement by the said Company, was to be by him delivered to said Company, or in default, to the said Hall Hanlon. And whereas the said conditions have not been performed by the said Company, and this is the day mentioned in said agreement as the time set as a limit to said agreement, Now therefore for the purpose of enabling the said Company to complete its arrangements, and at |
