Show -2- That said filing was made under the provisions of Chapter XCIV, Statutes of 1899, being "An act to amend 'An act in relation to foreign corporations/ approved April 1, 1872/' approved March 17, 1899. I further certify that according to the records of my office the said The California Development Company was authorized to engage in the transaction of intrastate business in the State of California at all times during the period beginning July 14, 1900, and ending on March 2, 1918, whereupon it forfeited its right to transact such business for nonpayment of the Corporation License Tax under the provisions of Chapter 215, Statutes of 1917, and whereupon it forfeited its right to transact such business for nonpayment of the Corporation Franchise Tax under the provisions of Chapter 214, Statutes of 1917, and That according to the records of my office, said corporation has not been reinstated since March 2, 1918.
