Hill, Sheriff of the County of San Diego, do hereby certify: That under and by virtue of the within and hereunto annexed writ of execution, by me received on the 24th day of August, A. D., 1894, I did, on the 20th day of October, A. D., 1894, levy upon the lands hereinafter described, and noticed the same for sale as the law directs (by posting written notice of the time and place of sale, particularly describing the property, for twenty days successively, in three public places of the township or city where said property is situated, and also where said property was to be sold, and publishing a copy thereof once a week for the same period in the San Diegan Sun a newspaper published in said County of San Diego), and on Saturday, the 20th day of October A. D., 1894, at 2:05 o'clock, P. M. of said day, in front of the Court House door of said County, the time and place fixed for said sale, I did attend and offered for sale at public auction, for United States gold coin, the property described: situate in the county of San Diego, State of California, and described as follows, to-wit, belonging to said defendant: Section 36, township 15 south, range 23 east, San Bernardino base and meridian, containing 640 acres and held by Arthur T.
