W. Y^ of Sec. 25, T. 16 S., R. 21 E., S.B.B. & M. (except for an apparent error in Gonder filing of Mar. 27, 1897); the purpose was for developing power and irrigation of lands in San Diego County, Calif., and in Lower California, Mexico; and the canal would run through Lower California, Mexico, and thence into that portion of San Diego County, State of Calif., lying to the east of the San Jacinto Mts. and known as the New River Country. aOn January 25, 1899, Gonder assigned all his rights, title and interest to water covered by his filings made "from time to time," to California Development Company. 2On January 18, 1899, Heffernan assigned all his rights, title and interest to water covered by his filings made "from time to time," to California Development Company.
