Show 11Spade Cooleyheaded an activegroup of SigmaChi's this year.^P^\^S|\-%£'Wm&mmm. *"0fA Sweetheart and a Melon Mess...Activities, socials, and studies, occupied the Sigma Chi's for the year. Starting the year with a bellow, they sang their way to a first in the Homecoming Quartet Contest. Then they invited the student body to the annual Melon Mess, where big melons and stained faces predominated. The invitation list was narrowed when the Sigma Chi's invited all the sororitees to their Derby Day. Here, games were played, refreshments served, and a contest for the body beautiful held.The brother also switched costumes several times during the year. They changed from the Islamic splendor of the Arabian Party, to the dingy cowboy attire of the western party, to the cosmopolitan formal dress of the famous Sigma Chi Sweetheart Formal.Lloyd B.
