Show Madelyn rode horses all her life. Joseph, Madelyn, and Ruth, in the summer of 1907. Madelyn and her cousin, Amanda Chamberlin, dressed up as little old ladies. Atop Inspiration Rock, a favorite hike at the Ranch for all ages. Her father, left, with Joseph, David Cannon with Ruth, Ralph Stewart, Mary Stewart, and Madelyn, right. There were many fish in the Provo River, probably caught by the various men on the Ranch. Madelyn and Ruth are with Joseph, who died soon after this picture was taken, in 1908. Madelyn also lost a ten month old brother, William, two years later. |
