Josh said the word with distaste. "I-I don't think so, Cap." Before answering, Cap took time to spit at a leaf on the ground below them. "Okay-maybe like a lion then. With a big mane around his neck." He began to giggle at the ridiculous sight Chinook would make, trimmed like that, until he had to steady himself in the tree. Josh moaned. "Aw, come on, Cap. What am I going to do about the dog catcher?" After another moment, Cap brightened again. "Hot dog! That's it! It's exactly what you'n me's gotta do 1" "What's that?" Josh said dubiously. Sometimes Cap's ideas were too wild even for Josh. Like the time he wanted to sail a raft down the river clear to the ocean and become stowaways to go around the world. Of course, whenever they played pirate, Cap always got to be captain because of the eye patch. "We'll run away, just you an' me an' your dog!"
