He looked at Tom long and silently and then finally said in a raspy, hoarse voice. "What do you want with me. When I asked for your help years ago you turned me away. What brings you to my doorstep now?" He waved to the hut in a derisive manner.. " Delgado, I could not give you what you wanted. You fcmw that. So don't give me any of your nonsence and put-on, hurt airs. My wife and I owe you nothing. But, we've brought you some food and clothes and you're welcome to them. We have some questions we want to ask you and if you are cooperative, perhaps we will come again and bring you more food. If not, tell us now so we can leave." Replied Tom in a abrupt voice. "Who are these girls that you've brought with you and what for?" he said in a suspicious voice. "Penelope and Victoria Standish live in Gaven House now. Maddie and I work for their parents as we used to in the old. days when the Gavens lived there. They are the ones who wish to ask you some questions." said Tom.
