The juicy baked hams, stuffed grape leaves which were especially prepared by Grandmama Bravos, spinich and cheese pies, mounds of spaghetti smothered in a special sauce which had been in the family for many years. Tossed green salads, garnished with the old fashioned Greek dressing. Not to mention all the plates piled high with goat's cheese, olives and various vegetables. As always, and almost the best of all, the seafood; luscious crab and lobster meats and shrimps which were immersed in a savory dressing of olive oil, lemon juice and oregano. It was only on special days of the year that Grandpapa Bravos' oldest wine was taken from the special barrel in the basement of Gaven House and served at the table. A clear and glowing Napa Burgundy that shone in the tall stemmed glasses.
