Show POLITICAL SCIENCEPI SIGMA ALPHAWith the objective of stimulating productive scholarship and intelligent interest in the study of government, Pi Sigma Alpha admitted students with fifteen hours of political science who were in the upper one-third of their class. The political science honor society sponsored a fall quarter noon lecture series entitled "People and Politics," a debate between the gubernatorial candidates, informal luncheons with various Utah political figures, the annual lecture featuring a nationally renowned speaker, and co-sponsored Supreme Court Justice Byron White for Challenge Week.Pi Sigma Alpha officers were (row 1) Jolene Larson, Kathy Lewis, president, Ralph Hardy (row 2) Wil-lard Mitchell, Rich Stromberg, Dr. Reed Frischknecht. Jim Hardy and Dr. J. D.
