Show BOWLING - Promoting interest in the popular sport of bowling were Bill Darke, Merilyn Johnson, Jim Peltier, Wally Todd, Linda Lawrence, Jeff McNemar, chairman, Jacqui Keysor and Charles Kaufmann.CLUB PANOBAMA - Planning monthly dances held in the Panorama Boom were (row 1) Gordon Storrs, Ivie Meke and (row 2) Wallace Shiverdecker, chairman.COIGN OF COZE - Inviting personalities for informal discussions with students were (row 1) Brian Swinton, chairman, Sue Clark, Phyllis Kirkpatrick and (row 2) Leslie Ohran.The nineteen Union committees this year provided a wide variety of programs and activities designed to use the Union facilities to their fullest capacity. From Green Room's receptions for visiting guests of the University and fine art displays provided by Art Exhibitions to Spotlight on France, the committee members worked together to plan events worthwhile to all University students. Committee membership, open to all students, offered an opportunity to meet and work with fellow students and to learn to delegate and accept responsibility.155 |
