Show Having completed the first of four years on the road to an academic degree, the sophomores continued their efforts to gain a broad knowledge with another year of general education courses. Without the feelings of hesitancy and awkwardness which had plagued them only a year earlier, they were able to proceed with new confidence and assurance to take their places as important members of the student body. They worked hard to plan the dance, sports, and other activities of the Snow Carnival, which gave all Utes an opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of winter. As the year came to a close, they prepared to settle down in earnest to a major course of study in the remaining years ahead.SOPHOMORE OFFICERSAccepting responsibility for the sophomore class were: (row 1) Dave Young, president (row 2) Bob Woolf, vice president, Marilyn Condie, secretary, Kim Bennion, treasurer and Diane Al-lred, personnel coordinator. |
