Show Gale B. DickProfessor, PhysicsDr. Dick received his B.A. degree from Reed College in 1950 after which he studied at Oxford University for three years as a Rhodes Scholar. He then spent four years at Cornell University earning a Ph.D. in physics. Dr. Dick joined the University of Utah staff in 1963 and has contributed greatly to the Department. He has also had published several papers.Karl H. SchleckmanProfessor, Health, P.E., and RecreationAs an All-Conference tackle in the late thirties and former football coach at the University, Karl Schleckman is well acquainted with the physical education facilities here. As an Assistant Professor of Physical Education, his main interest is the new Physical Education Complex to be built within the next four years.Charles J. AlleyProfessor, Electrical EngineeringProfessor Charles J. Alley, associated with the Department of Electrical Engineering since 1952, has co-authored a book entitled Electronics, the largest selling electrical engineering text in the nation. He has also written a section of the Encyclopedia of Physics on modulation. During the last year, he has perfected a special 1 kilowatt transmitter for satellites and a new, inexpensive multiplex adapter for stereo FM reception. |
