Challenge '65 dealt with such topics as ethics, the Supreme Court, Medicare, space, fine arts, and the Republican Party. Viewpoints on Medicare were aired by Maurine Neuberger, Senator from Oregon, Dr. Edward R. Annis, Past President of the American Medical Association, and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Director of Community Health Association. The aspects of modern ethics and morals were discussed by Reverend Theor-dore Gill and E. G. Williamson, Dean of Students at University of Minnesota. Byron R. White, U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Dean William B. Lockhart, University of Minnesota, and Robert McKay from New York University discussed issues of the Supreme Court Aspects of the Republican Party were viewed by Dean Burch, former Chairman of the Republican National Committee."States' Rights: A Constitution Myth?" is discussed by William B. Lockhart, Robert B. McKay, Sen. Strom Thurmond and Samuel D. Thurman. |
