Show Utah's freshmen football team under the direction of former Ute grid star, Pres Summerhays, capped the 1964 Papoose season with its only win - a 20-6 triumph over Brigham Young. The green-lings dropped the first meeting with the Kittens 7-0 in Provo. Utah State's Ramblers handed Utah a season opening loss of 21-12 while the return match ended in a 14-14 draw.
