Show The 65 member University A Cappella Choir climaxed its third year of choral activities with a spring concert tour through Southern Utah and California. March performances included presentations at St. George, Utah, and Fontana, Anaheim, Ventura and Santa Maria, California. Under the direction of Dr. Newell Weight, the choir initiated other firsts such as: providing the music for November's Presidential Inauguration, a spring performance with the band, and a choral Christmas program in conjunction with KUED. Narrated by Dr. Harold Folland of the English Department, the television broadcast was nationwide. Members also participated in their annual University spring concert and high school tour.
