As this is an "Editor's Note," I must mention that I am greatly indebted to four distinct groups of people for the success of this edition of Utah's Health: An Annual Review. First, I appreciate the leadership, vision, and prudent advice provided to those of us working on the journal by the members of the General Advisory Board and the Data Advisory Board. My staff and I can't thank you enough for the wonderful ideas and suggestions you gave us, most of which are reflected in the final version of the journal. Second, I wish to thank the members of the Editorial Board for their efforts and hard work. In this instance, many hands have, truly, made light work. Third, I wish to acknowledge the contributions of our advisors: Dr. Robert P. Huefner, the Director of the Governor Scott M. Matheson Center for Health Care Studies, and Steven J. Trockman from the Center for Disease Control. Thank you, both, for serving as our teachers and mentors. Fourth, I must mention the members of the Executive Editorial Board. I cannot thank you enough for your faithful attendance at early meetings, your incredibly insightful and meaningful comments about the future direction of the journal, and, of course, the fabulous work you have done on your individual sections. Its been wonderful to see how such a diverse and unique group of people can come together and create a valuable and lasting contribution to our State's public health community.
