P.M.S. and T. We, the students of the University, desire at this time to express our sincere appreciation to the men of the United States Army who have so ably handled one of the most important manhood building forces in our institution, the R O. T. C. Major George S. Gay has been ordered away from us to fill a position for a year in a middle western institution, but we want him to leave knowing that his return to the University of Utah the following year will be looked forward to with anticipation. Major Gay has supported every move of the student body the years he has been on the campus, and altogether has exerted a wonderfully clean cut influence over all with whom he has had contact. Power to you, Major. Working consistently with Major Gay, Captains Bledsoe, Woodruff, Jones and Green are due for their share of credit for the success they have made with our R. O. T. C. unit. Things look as if these men will be with us next year to continue in the good work they have so ably done in the past. Too much credit cannot be given these gentlemen. Our only desire is that more students come into active contact with them in the future and support them to the limit in puting over his important line of work. I 7Lo u n d Up 71 umber |
