Show ! Ut TONIAH ss Officers John K. Edmunds imogene wlthelmsen Mark Greenwood Dorothey Covey . President Vice-President Treasurer Secretary We, the class of '26, have watched the Union Building fund from its infancy swell to tens of thousands of dollars, and we have supported our school nobly through four campus campaigns. We have mourned the passing of freshman ducking and have grieved at the bier of wanton hair-cutting-abolished by presidential decree. We witnessed the last glorious fightin' "U" day in '24, and held our breath at the scene of its death struggle when we were juniors. We have joyed this year in its victory and resurrection to new life and spirit. We of '26 have bade farewell to many traditions and have hailed the innovation of new traditions. Four years have we lived on the campus and found life there rich in experience and accomplishment. We were the first freshman class to successfully present a greenling play. We are the first senior class to attempt a pretentious open-air production- "Midsummer Night's Dream" at Nibley Park. The annual of our junior year established a new standard in the history of yearbooks. In debating, dramatics, athletics, music, in all student activities we have served our school to the best of our ability and covered the class of '26 with glory. John K. Edmunds ably directed our activities this year. As Juniors, Clare Cosgrove was the guiding spirit. Harking back to the spirited days of underclasshood, we recall our sophomore prexy, Louis Kirkman, and in that first year of youth, Leslie "Shag" Burbidge, our peppy frosh leader. We stand now on the eve of graduation reverently before the shrine of our college ideals and aspirations and breathe a prayer that they will carry on in the unknown world we are about to enter. 71,0 u n d U p 71 u m b e r |
