PATIENCE Patience, born in 1873 in Greenstead, England, was the son of James Patience and Margaret of William and Thomsen Gallacher born in Logan, in 1872. Elizabeth, daughter Mitchell, Francis Robert son of Neil and Hannah Anderson, was born in Bingham Junction in 1872. She attended school in the old "Mud Temple." The Mitchells had five children while living in Sood. Robert married Alice Tonks in 1896 in Share Middle Essex, England. In 1928, they moved into a new home on Locust Street. They were killed in an accident in 1941 in Provo Canyon, while returning from a fishing trip. They moved to Midvale and built a home on Center Street. The Patience family were members of the Methodist Church, but the children went to LDS Sunday school until the Methodist Church was built. Margaret Gladys Mitchell Engman Delores WILLIAM W. AND ELIZABETH A. MUTCH Anderson, born in Sweden, came Elizabeth when she was two years old. She Nelson in her boarding Robert, Alice, Nellie, Margaret and Delores went to England for a visit in 1927. Betty helped other families in need and was especially helpful in obtaining a wheelchair for one were ROBERT J. AND CARRIE V. PATIENCE (Bob), born in Shareditch, England, married Carrie Vincent. They had six children: Dorothy, Vincent Robert, Robert Willis, Elaine Alice, Robert John of the men in Midvale. William Mutch was born in 1877 in Prince Edward Island. He left home at an early age seeking adventure and ended up in Midvale where he worked for the U.S. Smelter, the Steel Mill and the Utah Power and Light as a Joe and Caroline. Bob had his own contracting company and built many buildings in Midvale. Among them were the Goff Mor tuary, Dr. Alley and Dr. Jones' office building and the Ford Motor Building in Salt Lake. He was known for his ability to bid and make all estimates in his head. He machinist. Bill and Betty were both active members of the Methodist Church located then on 1st Avenue.
