Show OMB No. 1024-0018, NFS Form United States Department of the Interior National Park Service National Register of Historic Places Continuation Sheet Section No. 7 Page 1C) Ogden Central Bench Historic District, Ogden, Weber County, UT Streetscapes/Landscapes Throughout the Ogden Central Bench Historic District the blocks, streets, and walks were established in a grid pattern as was typical of the majority of Utah's early settlements that were based on Joseph Smith's "Plat of the City of Zion." The streets are wide and are lined with many trees. Lot sizes and shapes in the district were once fairly uniform but now vary due to the district's growth, expansion, and subdivision over the decades. Nonetheless, the majority of the district maintains the overall residential appearance that it had over fifty years ago, seeing relatively little change. |
