In the morning it was floating free; the sand cut out. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q how far down was that? A Between thirty- five and forty miles below the Denver & Rio Grande bridge. Q That is below the mouth of the San Rafael? A Yes, sir; that is about fifteen miles. Q What sort of another did you have on this boat? A A common old fluke anchor, one hundred and fifty pounds.
