A On this Sunday morning from the Wolverton ranch we went down to gather some berries, we went down about five or six miles down to Three Canyons; that was a row boat. Went down and back to the Wolverton ranch. Q This was another boat you used the next day? A Yes sir. Q Which way from Greenriver was this place you forded, above or below the town? A Above. Q About how far above? A About two miles above the bridge. Q You used to ride horseback quite a good deal? A Yes sir; that was our only pleasure, that is, before cars. Q That is the only occasion when you ever forded the Green river? A I had no occasion after that; our wagon bridge was built directly after that.
