Show 5334 M. Kendrick- D 3345 the boat. Q How far down stream did you go? A You mean on the Cliff Dweller? Q Yes. A Not further than a mile and a half or two miles. Q Have you ever made any trips with Mr. Wolverton? A Yes sir. Q How far down the stream have you been with Mr. Wolverton? A I went overland from Greenriver down to the Wolverton ranch by team and pony with Mr. Wolverton's daughter, and then her father took us down the river to Three Forks canyon, -- I think that is the name of the canyon. And then the next day he brought us back up the river as far as Little valley -- no, the day after, -- we were two days coming from Wolverton's ranch to the Little valley. He had decided he couldn't go over the rapids at Little valley, so he tied up at Little valley, had us taken to town by wagon and horses. MR. FARNSWORTH: We move to strike from the witness's answer where she states the conclusions of Mr. Wolverton. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Strike that out. MR. BLACKMAR: Q When you got to this point just tell me, please, what happened to the boat, as to whether or not it went forward or stopped or what. |
