His first experience was with a rowboat , but ( subse- subse ) ( quent qnent ) to that ( time th-ne thne ) he owned and operated a ( num- num ) ber of power boats upon the river . The largest boat was the Black Eagle ( Vol . 18 , p . 3411 ) ( which vhich ) was a boat about 40 feet long ( with ivith ) a ( 6-foot 6foot 6--foot 6foot ) beam and draft about 7 or 8 ( indies inches ) . The boat was equipped with a ( 20-horsepower 20horsepower ) compound vertical ( marine narine ) ( engine eligine ) . It burned wood or coal . This boat made one trip downstream ( about aboat ) 100 miles . The boiler tubes blew out ; the engine and boiler were taken out and the ( liull hull ) abandoned . -4 ( Yokey's Yokeys ) trips were mostly for the purpose of ( experimenting experimeliting ) with the river , ( hunting Minting ) , etc . At the time the witness testified , therewere no power boats left on the river at ( Greenriver Greenrhrer ) , ( Utah TJtah ) .
