EH: She was a Norman though. Page 23 GC: You mention, your two brothers, you said you had what was the how many brothers and sisters, did you have? EH: \.Jell, I had two other sisters who died when I was quite young. And then I have three brothers. Hy two sisters died before I was fifteen. They were married and gone from home when they died, so there was my three brothers and myself. I am the oldest out of the boys but I have three younger brothers. GC: And they all lived here or were raised in this area?. EM: All raised here in Bingham, went to school in Bingham. In fact, my brother was, how do they call it, salutation. All of us were honor roll students, my three brothers and myself, I was a honor roll student, not that I was so brilliant but my family was real strict and they didn't let me go anyplace, so either I study or was bored. I liked school too and like my brother said it's not how much you know but how much you put into it, they have, of course, I didn't have as much as he did. GC: And you moved to Midvale in 1956? EM: Yes, August the 28th, 1956. |
