Point blank~ When a politician said, 'We'll study this thing, 1 that means you're out~ You're flat~ No~ And then on this other side it said something else and then it showed you here in Spanish what it means. After a while, and it's humor-ous but you learn that when you sit on a board like that, like some of these people are doing, you begin to hear this thing over and over again. After a while, a damn politician comes in from Washington or some representative from the Labor Depart­ment, or somebody comes in and tells you something, you know when he's saying no, he doesn't have to say no, you know when he's saying no. He's never going to say, 'Well, no, I don't think you should do it this way.' He's going to tell you that some junior God up in Washington said no. It's never him making the decisions. Somebody else's always doing it, see? GC: In other words, it's making people aware of how to change things without having to go through the one individual. DS: You make people aware that you can change things through, well, it 1s politics, political process of making a motion and getting a second and getting it approved by a vote of the board is political action.
