Show Utah 13 C.U. 6 At Salt Lake City Nov. 11, 1934 ?Utah Stadium - Two momentous turns of events gave the Utah Redskin warriors a 13-6 homecoming thriller in their annual battle with the Silver and Gold men from Boulder. Utah's 10 first downs' coupled with heads up football was too much for C.U.'s 15 first downs. More than 11,000 grid-goers were treated to the season's greatest nip-and-tuck affair. ? Counter, Colorado's great quarterback, fumbled in the first period when scrappy Dan Savich tackled viciously and recovered. Arnett, Kramer, and lastly Richins banged the forward wall for the remaining 20 yards to a goal. The half ended with Boulder on Utah's 3-yard line. ? Davies' perfect corner-kicks avoided many dangers. C. U.'s great aerial game brought 10 complete passes out of 17 tries for 123 yards. ? McLean, Ritchart, Murphy, Counter, Grosvenor, Kramer, Davies, Arnett, Savich, McKenzie, Stenzil, Sleater, Nelson, White, and Westphal all performed to the great pleasure of the fans.
