Show SOPHOMORE CLASS Clegg Strange I Led by David Clegg, president, Emeline Nebeker, vice-president, Mary Strange, secretary, and Merrill Davis, treasurer, the class of '36 indulged in the use of strategy instead of physical force to defeat the freshman class in the traditional interclass rivalry. ?The sophomore, furthermore, were well represented in the field of intercollegiate athletic competition producing several men who received recognition in the Rocky Mountain Conference for their outstanding achievements. The capabilities of the members of this class were felt in all extra-curricular activities. Nebeker Davis Eastman McKendrick Brixen Hardy FRESHMAN CLASS ? Abandoning all high school frivolities, the class of '37 filled to overflowing the shoes vacated by the sophomore class. ? Headed by the frosh president the freshmen effected a rather brilliant victory in the annual sack-rush. But perhaps a trifle over-confident in their second struggle, the log-roll, they were woefully and somewhat un-gently subdued by the sophomores. ? Winding up a notably active year, the freshman class has given evidence of a much needed stimulation towards University traditions. Dan Eastman, president, Julia Brixen, vice-president, Patricia McKendrick, secretary, and Ralph Hardy, treasurer, worked well in directing the activities. Forty-two 3 |
