Show ASSOCIATED STUDENTS Larsen Ross Knight Jones Watts ? The chief aim of the Executive Council is to direct and at all times to regulate the affairs of the institution. Under this body the entire student body and all student activities are controlled. ?Directed capably by President Rudolph Larsen, the council sponsored numerous activities which brought forth a greater show of enthusiasm than has been seen in many years. The pep rallies and the social functions all took on a new tone and the entire student body was keyed up to a new pitch. With the sponsoring of the new "Hello Week'' a closer feeling has been brought about among all students. Nor were the Homecoming, Founders' Day, and U-Day celebrations of any less importance or less successful. ? The council faced a distinct handicap in the reduced budget, however, the problems were well met and the activities of the institution have suffered little as a result. ? One of the finest of the works of the Council was its selection of committees to carry out the functions of the school. Much of the success of the Council was due to the efficiency of these groups. ? Besides President Larsen on the Council were: Annie Ross, first vice-president, Blaine Watts, second vice-president, Mary Jones, secretary, and Ralph Knight, treasurer. Thirty-six |
