Show Utah 13 C.A.C. 0 At Salt Lake City Nov. 30, 1933 ? Hopes of gaining a tie in the R.M.C. race aroused the Utes to ignore C.A.C's pre - game favoritism and decisively annex their final tiff of the season 13-0. ?First downs of 14 to 6 and yardage of 342 to 194 told Utah's overwhelming advantage. ? Brilliant Danny Savich, the well-redeemed Roly Sleater, aggressive Aldo Richins, shifty Glenn Arnett, versatile Swede Larsen, dependable Hack Davies, and the rising Thornley Swan shared the bulk of Utah's honors. ? Red White, Glenn Morris, Mike McMichael, and Ralph Maag will be remembered for their two long completed passes and their all-around good play. ? Two passes by Sleater, one by Richins, a run by Sleater, and a line-buck by Kramer scored the first goal. Swan's recovery of White's fumble paved the way for the second score. ? It was a glorious climax to a colorful season. Colorado University downed Denver the same day to send the race into a triple tie as the season officially closed.
