Show Utah 61 M.S.C. 0 At Salt Lake City Sept. 23, 1933 ? Led by Captain Hack Davies, all-conference end, the Redskin horde from Utah U side-swiped Montana State's challenge to the conference champs' winning record by the convincing score of 61-0. "More than 8000 rabid fans felt assured that the '33-'34 Utes were not only impressive but super - powerful. ? Utah, by carrying the oval 69 times for 495 yards made the futile efforts of M.S.C.'s gain of 67 yards in 37 thrusts look pitiful. ?The gallant ball-carrying efforts of Captain George Parke, mite of a Bobcat ace, was outshone only by the spectacular stepping of pudgy Glenn Ar-nett, who squirmed past Bobcat claws for 169 yards in 12 tries. ? A couple of near impossible "gets" featured Pete Carlston's contribution from his wing post. The massive Croft, the rugged McKenzie, mighty Trixie Ostler, and the dual centers, Savich and Bridge, all brightened the Brave outlook for the campaign.
