Messenger boys carried Valentines to all parts of the city, these same presents of clusters of flowers were worn to theThe Juniors had worked hard but felt fully rewarded by the avowals of pleasure, or the silent admiration expressed only in happy faces. Distance was forgotten. One entered a beautiful garden of California among the many palms of the Mezzanine floor, only to cross the hall to find obscure and mysterious Turkey and then back again to Utah and the Ball room, brilliant with the many dancers and the masses of American Beauty roses. A thousand colors seemed wafted in and out. Time also was forgotten-pleasure only was remembered. But distance and time must finally be recalled, and with the faint strains of the medley, pleasure, a ruler for a few hours, becomes only a memory, and the 1914 Prom is over.Program for Prom WeekMONDAY-Fraternities held open house.
