Show §=51912-13 Rich in Student Body Activity"U'TAH SPIRIT," that meaningful something of which we all boast, in a stronger, more emphatic form than ever, has carried the student body triumphantly over the rough places and gloriously over the smooth, with the result that 1912-13 must truly be proclaimed a banner year.Under an able and experienced president and a strong board, progressive, but careful and considerate, many things of lasting importance have been accomplished. Chief among them is, of course, the revision of the student body constitution, establishing widespread improvements in every way, adopting rules to the needs of a rapidly growing University, and enabling Utah to hold a favored place in the procession of real Universities. Basketball debating and spring sport rallies, comparing favorably with the unbeatable football rallies of the fall, the first barbecue, an encouraging success, a greatly improved U day, and strong efforts to direct student body thought and action along sane, decent, but active channels have marked the two semesters.Although slumbering peacefully at times, the student body has always awakened when the occasion demanded and revealed its characteristic life and power.Executive BoardPicture on preceding pageHamilton Gardner ....................................................................................PresidentSterling J.
