Show SOUTHERN DISTRICT BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S CLUBS lINUTES of the Spring Southern District Conference Held March 18, 1972, Roadway Inn, Richfield, Utah at District Director, Rhoda Palmer, welcomed everyone and introduced Mr. Richey, husband of Mildred Richey, who sang three songs. Mrs. Palmer introduced then guests, Career Girls, and Career Girl judges, Helen Dahle, Alene Hansen, Arletta Elton, Kathryn Putnam, Mi Ldr ed Richey, Marion Behunin, and Mabel 0' Brien. and the following Roll Call was stzte Officers: taken with the following present; Beaver - - - The Club Collect Ren Anderton - 17 0 given by LaRue Bagley, Richfield Club's President. was played Zion - 0 - - - .2 - Richfield- 15 - Cedar City Milford- a beautiful piano solo. Minutes of the Fall Southern District and Conference held in Richfield £pproved. Reports of each clubs activities during the past year Helen Christiansen Edn r·Uller - Neola Brown - LaRue Bugley Roene DiFore and Eddie Duce were then were read given by: Beaver - Panguitch Cedar City Richfield - entertained us with three voca selections. Gaia Christensen, State Career Girl Chairman, introduced the two Career Girls sponsered by the clubs from Richfield and Ced,r City. Rosalie Riddle, a school teacher from Richfield, and Elaine Nelson, a school teacher from Cedar City each gave interesting short speeches. Rosalie Riddle was chosen to the Southern District as their Career Oil. represent Pxresident Helen Dahle g2'.ve a report on her trip to the National Convention in Washington D.C. Each state Officer spoke to us.
