November eleventh was the concluding date for the seven District Conferences of the Utah Federation this fall. These began with the Southeastern District Conference at Price under the Direction of the District Director, Mrs, Bessie Mower, on September 30; The Southern District meet was held at Panguitch with director, Mrs. Naomi Hughes 'in 'charge on October 1. On October 14, Vernal was the locale for the Eastern District Conference. Mrs. Hilda Faulkner, as District Director, presided. The next day, on October 15, the state of ficers again met at Brigham City for the Northern District Conference with Mrs. Joyce Frisby as Director. / This year, two districts conducted ft joint session. The North Central District and the Central District met on the evening of November 4, at Salt Lake City at the Prudential Building. Mrs.'" Ann Siebers of Tooele" and Mrs. Arvilla King '. . - conducted. . . : " Spanish Fork was the center for the South .Central District Conferenee on November 11 and Mrs. Lurleen Loveless presided as Dis.trict Director. / .. I. Mrs. Edith S. Shaw, FIrst VIce President, and DIrector III charge of the Conferences, reported excellent attendance at these conferences. A number of special discussions have been given.
