Show REPORT OF NORTHERN DISTRICT CONFERENCE The Northerll' District Conference of Business and Professional Women's Clubs met at prising the Conference Neeley Leav-e-r, Mrs. are were Brown National Convention", The three clubs com- Ogden, Brigham and Logan. President, Almeda Perry Brown, state Maud Logan, Utah, October 10, 1937. and state special guests and the sparkers spoke on, "Some of the Program Chaiman, on our program. Accanplishments of our l>articufarly those which are directly related to each member of our Federation. Mrs. Leaver- spoke on "Program Coordination" and explained the meaning of the Legislative bill on Regulation of Mintmtim Wages and Maximum Hours for Women an.d Minors. FollOwing the dinner meeting, special group meetings ere held for club chai.rmen , Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Leaver explained the work of the various committee chair.men and gave references for help in planning the committee work, and there was a far greater understanding of the responsibilities and coordination of comat ttee work in our clubs. The music of the Ogden Club. was There enthusiastic were community singing led by Sarah McCracken 70 manbers present fram the three clubs. |
