Salt Lake ity (;ity, i Iva Millward, Chairman of the Dd.s t r Lc t , called the session order and the Club Collect was read- by Miss AliQe Manning. Greetings were given by Mrs Mi1ward, after which Miss Hasel Peterson, president of the Salt Lake Club, was introduced, who in turn introduced Miss Lulu Clegg, State Pederab Lon President, then Mis Nial Nelson, First Vice President, and District Convention Director of the State Federation, then followed the introduction of' Miss Alice Pederson, State Director of the Federation, and Mrs Martha Anderson, president or- the Tooele Club and Miss Irene Redden, president of the Coalville Club. Miss Fern as Bauersfe1d, National Field Organizer of the National was introduced and gave her greeing to the Convention, Federation telling of the organization of two Clubs in the southern part of the State- St. George, Utah with forty-five members and Cedar City with twenty-two members. She recommended the study of jOb security and to better f'it ourselves for that job, also prepardness for oHi age and a definite line of study to make us mor e qualified to take pa.rt in our community life. Miss Bauersfeld also extended greeting from Mrs Geline McDonald Bowman, our National President and from Miss Emily Kneubuhl, our Executive Secretary. A recommendation was made by Miss Bauersfeld for the increase in member ship by each member bringing in one new member this year.
