CENTRAL DISTRICT UTAH FED BPW CLUBS COUNCIL MEETING 31 JULY 1975 The Central District of the Utah pr0fessional Women's Clubs, held Federation of Business and their first council meeting of Vice Director- Mrs Dorothy 1975-76 term at the home Salt Lake City, Utah. Evans, The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Director Other Margene Colledge who led us in the Club Collect. Vice Director-Dorothy Evans, members in attendance were; for the in Sugarhpuse Club; Secretary-Treasurer, Mary Cerroni, Tooele; President-Elect-Lourralne Peterson, Tooele; and the following Marian Hardy, Bountiful; Marjorie Hansen, Midvale; Presidents; Janice Borup, Murray; Kiyo Nakamura, Salt Lake League; Absent were presidents of the Georgianne Brandley, Wasatch. Ensign, Coalville, and Salt Lake Clubs. Activities for the coming year were discussed which included council meetings, the Fall and Spring Conferences. Work Shops will be conducted at the Fall Conference by State President-Elect Madeliene Parker. The Young Caeer Women Speakoffs will be held at the Central District Spring Conference. Central District Fall Conference will be held on I 01 clock P1.14. -in Salt Lake City, Utah. Janice Borup will inquire into the possibilities of meeting at the Lutheran Church Social Room in Murray, Utah and Dorothy Evans will inquire at the Senior Citizens Center in Silt Lake City Utah. The Following club responsibilities are: The 6 September 1975 at Flag Ceremony---------------Midvale Programs--------------------Tooele Decorations-----------------Murray Club Collect----------------SugarhQuse Coffee and Punch------------Salt Lake League Sugarhouse, Bouti£ul, Ensign, Cookies, five dozen per club; Salt Lake Club, Coalville and Wasatch. Club Presidents were reminded to encourage standing committee chairman to be in attendance as well as all members. Work shops will be most informative. District Director Margene Colledge urged club Presidents to schedule visits for the An October 1975 Council District officers as soon as possible. Director later. Margene Colledge meeting will be scheduled will inquire at the Tri Arc Travelodge for a meeting room for council meetings.
