Full partnership for women in our democracy has been a motivating goal of our National Federation since 1919. For forty-four years B. P. W. has emphasized the importance of leadership development, to qualify women for sharing fully as partners in our nations progress. The full partnership concept is a broad and challenging concept. requires of women the acceptance of personal responsibility for competency and cooperation in all of her relationships her home, her job, her church, her club, her community, her state, her nation It -- and with her colleagues, people develop both men and women. It also requires that all broader vision and understanding of woman as a vital force in our free democratic society. Who, then are better qualified for the full partnership roll than business and professional women who have a long accepted responsibility privileges.
